Alchemy Craft Mod 1.8

To put it in a nutshell, the Alchemy Craft Mod adds new dimensions to Minecraft, for the use of brewing, crafting and smithing. On another note, it aids with new fairy effects and spells to the game, the magical powers that not yet to be known in the hit game of Mojang. In addition to letting the players put together their customized parts of armors, it gives them the chance to engrave magical effects. As it reminds Minecraft players of how enchanting works, the mod would be very practical to use on-the-run for those who have used enchanted items before.

Before getting into any specifics though, it’s only fair to mention that the Alchemy Craft mod is still just a work in progress. It isn’t finished, not by a long shot, so there are many things which have yet to be implemented, and some things which have been added to the game but don’t function as intended just yet. Some of the aspects which have been successfully added already include the forge and smithing equipment like anvil and hammer, as well as a universal tool which can harvest any block at all, except the operation (mining, digging, chopping, etc.) costs more durability to perform.

Unlike in vanilla Minecraft where you could make a suit of armor by filling a crafting table with the appropriate leather or ingots, making gear with the Alchemy Craft mod is a bit more involved. You must first craft the individual plates and linkages like screws and chain bits which you would use to craft the armor in the first place. Then these can be combined in a number of ways to give you a wide variety of unique armor pieces. It’s a great new take on a classic part of Minecraft that makes the game more exciting without breaking it.
