Xray Ultimate resource pack for all those who need it. Ores and mineral blocks are shamelessly highlighted as shown in the pictures.
Be sure to pick up Optifine for the extra nightvision effect. So that you can see the hidden ores, also turn off smooth lighting.

Download the pack.

Open Minecraft, and go to Options->Resource Packs->Open Resource Packs Folder.

Drag the zip file you downloaded into that folder.

Select the pack, and you’re done!
